Sound Healing in Hammocks

Self-Care Experience

Come join your colleagues for an hour of sound healing and relaxation — a great way to practice self-care in community as we prepare for the holiday season. This event is open to all folks who are in the helping profession (not just therapists). There are 13 hammocks available and 20 spots on the floor (hammocks are first come first serve and we trust you will enjoy relaxation wherever you land). Dress comfortably like you will be taking a nap. If you are in a hammock, you won’t need a yoga mat. If you are in a grounding floor space, bring a mat or rent one for $2 from The Center.

Blankets and bolsters are included in the experience. You can bring your own eye pillows or eye mask — there will be a few extra to borrow if needed.

Please arrive 15 minutes early at 1:45pm — we will begin on time. The Center is located downtown so keep this in mind as you plan for parking. There is a small metered parking lot next to the studio and street parking all around the studio. There is a large parking lot with 10-hour metered parking on Nipomo and Palm Street behind the studio. You can find free, unmetered parking a few blocks away on side streets (Nipomo & Pacific/Pismo). Parking structures take credit cards.

Optional: join us for tea/a snack afterwards so we can chat and connect after the sound healing. Details to be sent to registrants. This will be self-pay.

*Note: you will see two price options for registering; choose the price that works best for you. We understand that childcare costs, financial stress, etc. are factors that impact many and are striving to make this an accessible option for those who wish to participate. The price you choose will be confidential.

About Our Facilitator

Jamie has always been deeply empathic, intuitive, and compassionate by nature.

She has a fascination with mental health and majored in psychology in college. After getting her degree in psychology, her life was derailed by health issues including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, PTSD, and Lyme Disease.

While she was doing treatment for Lyme, her doctor told her she would have a greater chance to heal if she tried meditation. She had tried many times with little results but this time she was going to put her all into it. She soon after stumbled into a life-changing sound healing and breathwork session. It helped her realize the potential of finding deep healing within herself. She has since dedicated her life to hold transformative, insightful, and healing experiences for others so that they may also rediscover their inner strength.

Refund Policy
Refund policy for all events: Registrants who do not attend or fail to cancel registration seven days prior to scheduled event will be charged full fee. The only exception will be for registrants who are unable to attend due to an emergency.
