Ashley began working with adolescents in residential care in 1998. After completion of an MS in Clinical Psychology from CalPoly San Luis Obispo in 2006 she began working with the County as an Abused Children’s Treatment Services Specialist. Since leaving that position she maintains a private practice serving all ages. Trained in multiple curriculum, and certified in TFCBT and Creative Journal Expressive Arts, Ashley is passionate about using research in somatic and neuroscience to provide a nonjudgmental and practical perspective on trauma and its impact on development and life. Ashley offers trauma-focused interventions as well as Expressive Arts Therapies and mindfulness coaching. A long time resident of San Luis Obispo County, now co-located among many beautiful locations across the coast and the mountains; Ashley continues to serve SLO County and the entire state of California with evidenced based and time-tested techniques via telehealth.
