Ashley is passionate about using neuroscience to provide a nonjudgmental and practical perspective on trauma and it’s impact on children and teen’s development. She has been supporting foster and adoptive parents for 10 years and is skilled in helping them find the stance that meets their need for security as parents and meet their child’s need for connection and validation. Ashley is grateful to live in the beautiful community of San Luis Obispo, aside from joy in collaborating with other providers and foster parents she is an adoptive parent herself. She loves to take her amazing family to the beach and all the fun playgrounds we have here, as well as camping and hiking with friends.
