We are pleased to announce that we will still be offering our training on Outpatient Eating Disorder Treatment on Friday, March 27th from 9am-11am; however, in lieu of our usual in-person training, this will be offered virtually over Zoom.  Our presenters, Libby Parker, MS, RD and Leslie Barber, LVN, MA, LMFT, have prepared a rich presentation and our virtual platform will still allow input and questions from attendees.

If you are interested in attending this presentation AND HAVE NOT YET REGISTERED, please email our President, Kim Richards at richardskimlmft@gmail.com.  Kim will keep track of your participation for CEUs and also share your information with Libby Parker so she can send you a direct zoom invite to the training.

If you want to participate in the training over zoom, you need a computer with internet access and a working microphone and camera in your computer (most lap tops already have this embedded).  If you would prefer to participate over the phone, you can still hear the audio of the training, but will not see the video.

A note from Kim: I am not very tech savvy and just did a practice round over zoom with Libby and found it quite easy.  If you want any technical guidance before the presentation, please include this in your email to Kim and we will make sure you are ready to go by the presentation date.  Unless you indicate that you want to participate via phone, we will assume you are participating via your computer.

Note: you can attend the training via Zoom at no cost if you do not want CEUs.  If you want CEUs, please pay online prior to the date of the presentation (local members pay $25 and non-members pay $30 for 2 CEUs).  CEUs will be emailed to you shortly after the presentation (please be patient with us as we are navigating new territory).  If you already paid for the CEUs online and no longer want to participate in the training, please email Kim and we will be happy to refund you.

Wishing you and yours good health,

CCC-CAMFT Board

  2. Decide when to refer to an Eating Disorder Specialist or Higher Level of Care
  3. Identify basic do’s and don’t’s of talking about eating/body with your clients
  4. Be able to describe the basic concepts of  “Health At Every Size ®” and “Intuitive Eating,” and know why we love them
